Born in Rome in 2013, Night Gaunt have always pursued the hidden emotional landscapes that lie beyond the confines of conventional doom metal. Their music exists where overwhelming weight dissolves into fragile stillness, where darkness is not an aesthetic choice but an honest language through which loss, transformation, and resilience find their voice. Drawing from the solemn gravity of doom, the spectral melancholy of post-punk, the intimacy of dark folk, and the abrasive pulse of industrial music, the band has cultivated a sound that refuses permanence, embracing constant evolution instead.
Following years of performances throughout Italy and Europe, personal upheaval and artistic reinvention, Night Gaunt return with Rupture—not merely a new chapter, but the inevitable consequence of everything that came before.
